
Dr Zak Prime
Zak graduated with distinction from the University of Auckland Medical School before undertaking specialist training in Ophthalmology. He then completed two fellowships in Vitreoretinal surgery in Wellington and Sydney. During his time at the Sydney Eye Hospital he performed over 1600 Vitreoretinal surgeries in addition to performing complex cataract surgery and lens exchange procedures.
Zak has completed more than 3000 operations to date and has a particular interest in complicated cataract and Vitreoretinal procedures. Zak also works as a consultant Vitreoretinal Surgeon at the Auckland District Health Board.
